Description
When you feel estranged from the world and the world of your imagination feels more a home than the physical world you live in, then which one is real?

In her research, Elodie was experimenting with ways how to physicalize the imagination through dance. For this she created a course where dancers learn how to use their imaginative power to create new movement materials.

Questions raise up about how they want to give form to the world they live in, how do they relate to the others and who do they want to be themselves? From these questions the dancers created new 'beings' who live according to their own rules. With their own form, sounds, way of moving, communicating, their own behaviour, identity, their own being. They seem to come from another world, they are absurd, rebellious, funny and at the same time actually very very human.

Estranged from the world, but at home in the space of the imagination. In this performance the audience is invited to take a look at the imaginative world of the dancers. Or in that of the 'beings'. Because maybe these beings are who the dancers actually really really are.

A surrealistic performance developed by Elodie, in collaboration with the dancers, with costumes of Hans Hutting, sounds and objects from Kasper van Moll and a breeze of humor to let you laugh at the absurdity of that what we call life.
