In a place that seems no one’s home
marbles of ice dissolving into the ground
slowly transforming shapes and sounds

In a world so otherly
from what I know
you seem native
and I am strange

But let us caress
the gaps between us
to taste
a freshly found togetherness
where we can embrace
our differences
and celebrate
to be one
